Time for Change

Hello all you lovelies! How is 2016 going for you so far? We are almost 2 weeks into it already, where did that go?!

If you read my last blog Not all Singing and Dancing I mentioned how I can feel totally be on top of things one day and the next it’s all too much! So yesterday was my ‘it’s all too much’ day and today is my ‘let’s do it  all’ day! Relate?. I’m trying a new ‘go with it’ attitude so if I feel it’s not a good day, to just do my best and try not to get in a pickle about what doesn’t get done. I’ll let you know how that works out!

New year is always a good time to make changes, albeit within yourself, for your family or indeed your home.

There is so much I would like to achieve this year.

* a photography course

* a writing course

* invest more in friendships

* step out into new ventures and not shy away for fear of failure

* help others to realise and achieve their goals in life

And so much more but I can’t think about it all at the same time or my head will explode!!!

Have you made time for yourself to work out what you would like to achieve? If not why not give it a go.We are all so busy these days that we can totally lose sight of who we are and what we are about. We can get lost in our roles in life, but that is not all we are. Start dreaming again!

One of the things I want to do is more to the house. We have a lovely home and I do love it but there are so many things that need/I want doing. When you enjoy creating your mind never seems to switch off which can be both exciting and exhausting at the same time. I’m forever shifting things around to see if they look better and of course there is my painting obsession which I will be indulging in shortly, I have been threatening to paint the sideboard in the kitchen for a very long time and now is the time – post to follow.

I would love to hear about some of the things you have planned or if this post has inspired you to make changes. I will be blogging about the changes I make as I go along in the hope that it helps you too.

Thanks as ever for taking the time out to read my blog. Please feel free to share and comment it makes such a difference.

Take care of yourselves ❤️

    Your list of dreams for this year sound really exciting and you should go for it! I have had thoughts about what i’d like to achieve this year too but haven’t written them down yet so I must. I already have a written overall dream list and from time to time I’ll have a look at it and it’s amazing when I realise dreams have been fulfilled that I had forgotten i’d dreamt! So writing them down is good 🙂 Looking forward to the blogs about some of the things on your list as they unfold 🙂

      That’s brilliant, it’s amazing what a difference writing stuff down makes isn’t it? It just makes things more clear. Instead of everything buzzing round and round, looking at it makes more sense. Thanks for your response Hannah x
