Hello again! I know, I know I’m like a bus, nothing for ages and then all at once 😉 Anyhow the reason for this ‘little’ post is that I forgot to mention a couple of things yesterday! Firstly when you have painted your object and given it a good few hours to make sure it’s dry (that goes for each extra coat also), you need to wax the item. This gives it a protective layer and makes it more hard wearing. It’s so simple, dip a dry cloth like a dish cloth into the wax and work it into your item making sure you cover all parts. You can buy the wax when you get the paint.
Also for those of you who could get to The Vintage Dove, Steph does a beginners course if you would prefer some hands on experience with an expert. For details of courses press here.
Here is another idea for a small project to try.
Come on give it a go I’m sure you will love it! ❤️
